World Vision uOttawa is associated with World Vision Canada, a charity and humanitarian organization that focuses on global relief, development, and advocacy, striving to protect the most vulnerable children in the world.
Our Vision
To operate a student-run non-profit organization that fundraises and advocates for vulnerable children and communities facing extreme poverty and injustices around the world.
Our Mission
To provide uOttawa students from all backgrounds, skills, and interests an opportunity to advocate, drive change, and amplify the voices of children fighting for human rights and justice globally.
Who we are
We are a group of dedicated individuals at the University of Ottawa from various faculties who are globally-minded and passionate about helping vulnerable children and families in order to create change.
What we do
We run fundraising events throughout the year to support World Vision’s work on the field! We also assist with World Vision Canada’s policy advocacy work in Ottawa to help push our government to implement solutions for children and communities fighting the global hunger crisis.
